Valencia CF reach this second round of the Copa del Rey after defeating UD Maracena in the first round and drawing against Rayo Vallecano in LALIGA EA SPORTS. The Valencian side have already faced the Cartagena team in the Round of 32 of the 2021/22 Copa del Rey and also in the Round of 32 of the 23/24 Copa del Rey.

For their part, FC Cartagena, belonging to Group II of Primera RFEF, arrive to this second round of the Copa after beating Salerm Puente Genil in the first round. In the league, the team from Murcia are in fourth place in the standings with 23 points from the 14 matches played.
